Horwich Explores Insider Trading in Clinical Trials on AHLA's Speaking of Health Law Podcast

Partner Allan Horwich was featured on the American Health Law Association (AHLA) podcast, Speaking of Health Law, where he discussed insider trading in the clinical trial setting.

Allan, in collaboration with Crista Brawley, associate vice president for research at Northwestern University, addressed the fundamentals of insider trading law and the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) regulatory process for new drug approvals. These provided a framework for a wide-ranging discussion of the risks of engaging in unlawful trading, including the impact of confidentiality agreements, and enforcement actions taken by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
