Craig Gelfound Named Top IP Attorney by the Daily Journal for the Thirteenth Consecutive Year
Craig Gelfound, head of ArentFox Schiff LLP’s Intellectual Property practice in Los Angeles, has once again been honored by the Daily Journal as one of the Top Intellectual Property Lawyers in California, marking his thirteenth consecutive year of this recognition.
Craig has been recognized for his extraordinary track record with successfully monetizing intellectual property to maximize return on investment by procuring, managing, licensing, and enforcing domestic and global portfolios. He has been honored among the nation’s best attorneys and as a leader in his field by both Chambers USA and Legal 500. The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Craig one of the “Most Influential IP Attorneys” in Los Angeles. Craig has also been repeatedly recognized as an Intellectual Property “Super Lawyer” by California Super Lawyer and an “IP Star” by Managing IP (MIP) Magazine.
“Craig’s international reputation as an IP practitioner is highly respected, and he continues to be at the top of his game dealing with the intricacies of intellectual property law. It is no surprise that the Daily Journal chose to honor him again, for the thirteenth year in a row, to commend his portfolio management and patent prosecution practice,” said Aaron H. Jacoby, Los Angeles Managing Partner. “ArentFox Schiff’s leading IP practice represents top companies coast-to-coast and internationally and has cemented its work in California under Craig’s leadership.”
Craig graduated with a JD, magna cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law, where he currently serves as an adjunct member of the faculty teaching patent law. He received a BS in electrical engineering from San Diego State University. He brings considerable experience in telecommunications and technology to his practice, having designed signal processors for military radar applications when he worked for a major telecommunications company early in his career. He also served as project manager for one of the largest air traffic control radar contracts with the United States Air Force.
