Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll Recognizes 62 Arent Fox Lawyers

Washington, DC — On June 5, the chief judges of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia recognized 62 Arent Fox LLP attorneys in the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll for contributing more than 50 pro bono hours in 2012.

Jointly sponsored by the DC Court of Appeals and the DC Superior Court, the Honor Roll celebrates the pro bono contributions made by members of the DC Bar and recognizes attorneys who provide 50 or more hours of pro bono service in the calendar year.

“Arent Fox has stressed a commitment to the administration of justice stretching back more than 70 years,” said Chairman Mark M. Katz. “I want to congratulate the attorneys at the firm who continue to distinguish themselves as leaders in pro bono work and public service.”

As part of the National Celebration of Pro Bono in 2011, the District of Columbia Access to Justice Commission and the DC Bar Pro Bono Program assisted in establishing the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll. In a joint letter, DC Court of Appeals Chief Judge Eric T. Washington and Superior Court Chief Judge Lee F. Satterfield wrote, “[W]e are so pleased and proud to congratulate the more than 4000 members of the 2012 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll for their remarkable pro bono service to our neighbors in need.”
