As members of the firm’s Private Clients, Trusts and Estates Practice Group, Stephen and Chris explained the gift, estate, and income tax implications of the proposals which developed as a part of the “Build Back Better Act” in these two articles: “Estate Tax and the Build Back Better Act: Threats and Opportunities Before Year End” and “Build Back Better Act I, II, III: Current Version and Trusts and Estates.”
Stephen’s practice focuses on the needs of wealthy individuals and their families, their business, and charities. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 articles and, as a frequent lecturer, has spoken at numerous industry conferences in the U.S. and globally. Stephen currently serves as vice-chair of the Income and Transfer Tax Committee of the Real Property, Trust & Estate Section of the American Bar Association.
Chris represents high-net-worth clients in matters pertaining to estate planning, estate and trust administration, and income, gift and estate tax planning. A prolific writer, Chris founded and manages “Planning Your Future,” a blog that covers tax and estate planning news and trends.
