Former Senator Byron Dorgan Awarded Eno’s Martin Wachs Thought Leader Award
In the US Senate, Senator Dorgan served as Chairman of the Aviation Panel on the Commerce Committee. Following his work in the Senate, he serves as the Co-Chairman of the ENO Aviation Stakeholders Roundtable on air traffic control reform and advises the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on approaches to regulate unmanned aerial vehicles. He has been in these roles for the past seven years.
Eno’s Annual Leadership Award recognizes the transportation industry’s most impactful thought leaders, including both individuals and organizations who have contributed significantly to the field.
In his post-Congressional career, Senator Dorgan has remained active in many roles, such as teaching, consulting, writing, and speaking. He is recognized for his impact on aviation policy.
