ArentFox Schiff Sponsors TiE Boston’s 9th Cohort of TiE ScaleUp
ArentFox Schiff LLP is proud to sponsor the 9th Cohort of TiE ScaleUp, a program of TiE Boston that is New England’s first and only seed+ to Series A accelerator. Cohort 9 includes 14 leading-edge startups that have already developed notable customer or industry traction, raised significant capital, and expanded upon their brilliant core teams.
On the cusp of rapid scaling, these startup founders and leaders are now ready to take full advantage of the resources of the ScaleUp program and TiE Boston community, which include access to veteran mentors, an advanced scaling curriculum taught by industry experts, facilitated connections to compatible investors, and inroads to TiE’s esteemed global professional network.
Cohort 9 was recruited from the leading seed+ and Series A companies in Massachusetts via a rigorous selection process. The distribution of industries within this cohort reflects the industries and sectors in the local ecosystem: healthcare, AI, enterprise software, medical devices, e-commerce and consumer packaged goods (food and beverage).
“We are thrilled to partner with TiE Boston by sponsoring Cohort 9 of TiE ScaleUp. The program helps startups navigate challenges or barriers to growth by working with them to optimize their strategic positioning and competitive advantage, among other things. This is exactly the type of community partner we want to work with to not only support Boston entrepreneurs, but also to give a boost the industries that make Boston competitive,” said David M. Barbash, managing partner of ArentFox Schiff’s Boston office and co-chair of the firm’s Venture Capital & Emerging Businesses group.
TiE ScaleUp has been celebrated for its track record of success and was recently awarded a “Pathways to Scale” grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Cohort 9 will be the first cycle of ScaleUp to benefit from this funding.
Cohort 9 includes the following startups: 14Bis Supply Tracking, Aahana’s Naturals, BioSens8, Duckietown, Full Code Medical, GenH, Impact Biosystems, Parrots, Inc, Patient First.AI, Rally, Rivet, SafeBVM, Surgicure Technologies, and Surround Insurance.
