Arent Fox Expands Government Contracts Practice with Addition of Counsel Travis Mullaney
Arent Fox is pleased to announce the expansion of its Government Contracts practice with the addition of Counsel Travis L. Mullaney in Washington, DC.
Mullaney brings nearly 10 years of experience helping clients remove obstacles to success. From litigation to corporate transactions, Mullaney has represented clients of all sizes, including small IT consulting shops and multibillion-dollar defense contractors.
In particular, Mullaney advises companies from the technology, defense, construction, energy, and aerospace industries on matters that arise throughout a government contract’s life cycle. He helps clients take their contracts from start to finish by advising on teaming arrangements, pursuing and defending bid protests, leading subcontract negotiations, investigating and advising on compliance issues (intellectual property, small business, cybersecurity, conflicts of interest, labor issues, suspension, and debarment matters), litigating contract claims and disputes, and conducting due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other transactions.
Mullaney received his JD from Wake Forest University, his BA from the University of Virginia, and has spent his entire career providing high-quality representation to clients of major law firms. Before joining Arent Fox, Mullaney served as Counsel in the Government Contracts group at an international law firm. He has also worked as an Associate and Legal Assistant at other law firms, where he specialized in construction and energy law.
