Arent Fox Announces 2017 Diversity Scholarship Recipients
WASHINGTON, DC — Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship. Each student will receive a $20,000 award and participate in the 2017 Summer Program.
The following students demonstrated a commitment to learning and practicing law at the highest level:
- De’Siree Reeves (University of Virginia 2L) – DC Office
- Shelby Cummings (University of Southern California 2L) – LA Office
The New York office is holding the scholarship position open and will begin recruiting first-year law students beginning December 1. More details on the process can be found here.

Katz. “We hope they use this opportunity to continue developing their legal skills and look forward to working with these students next year.” Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship recipients and finalists will be officially recognized at a luncheon later this year at the firm’s offices in Los Angeles and Washington, DC
The Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship Program was started in 2006 and is part of the firm’s commitment to attracting top lawyers from diverse backgrounds. Since its inception, the firm has now awarded 33 scholarships and recognized 39 finalists throughout the country. Those winning students have been selected from thousands of compelling applications.
