Abendroth Inducted in NAEPC Estate Planning Hall of Fame
ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce that Private Clients, Trusts & Estates Practice Group Leader Thomas Abendroth has been inducted into the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils’ (NAEPC) Estate Planning Hall of Fame.
Tom is also a recipient of the Accredited Estate Planner® (Distinguished) designation for 2022, one of only nine estate planning professionals to receive the award this year. The award is given annually to recognize a lifetime of achievement and outstanding contributions to the practice and profession of estate planning.
Tom counsels clients on the full range of wealth transfer planning, seamlessly melding the tax implications of estate planning with the unique circumstances of the client’s family and non-tax goals. He has worked extensively with owners of family businesses, private equity and hedge funds, and in the professional sports industry.
Tom is a frequent speaker for national organizations and prominent annual estate planning institutes. He is annually recognized by Chambers High Net Worth and Best Lawyers. In 2017, he received Chicago Estate Planning Council’s Austin Fleming award, which is annually presented to a person highly regarded by practicing estate planners for his or her expertise in the field, and who has made a significant contribution to the improvement of estate planning practices.
