Uber Litigator in Finite Women’s League in Big Law
On February 10, New York Partner Bernice Leber was quoted in an article by Bloomberg Law.
The article discusses the lack of women as lead counsel in the courtroom and what steps can be taken to provide women lawyers with more opportunities to participate in leadership roles.
Bernice said, “The norm is that the lead counsel…is a man. Even though more than half the students graduating from law school are women, women attorneys often don’t have the opportunity to gain sufficient courtroom experience to prepare them for taking lead roles in cases.”
