TWLL Rising Stars Event: Analyzing Women’s Pathway to Leadership
Reuters reported that during the third installment of its Transforming Women’s Leadership in the Law event, Managing Partner Cristina Carvalho spoke on a Rising Stars panel “Steering A New Ship: Women’s Rise to Leadership in Law Firms.”
The breakfast panel was hosted by Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and included Michele A. Coffey, General Counsel and Partner at Morgan Lewis, and LeeAnn Black, Chief Operating Officer at Latham & Watkins.
The panelists discussed their early career paths, methods for business development, and elected committee positions. The article included a quote from Cristina noting that, “all of these conversations are very important and we’re starting to see some big changes. One of my jobs as a leader is to start making changes where I can so that women become more visible.”
