Tim Tosta Comments on Pending Basketball Arena Development
Partner Tim Tosta was quoted in a cover story for the San Francisco Business Times, “Playing hardball over new Mission Bay arena.”
The article details the pending development of the Golden State Warriors basketball arena in San Francisco and the highly organized and well-funded group that opposes it. Regarding the group’s strategy to use the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to kill the project, Tim commented, “Anyone who wants to make a CEQA challenge can do so. The law makes it easy. It clouds any pending project until a legal determination is made. The threat of the pending lawsuit is its effect on financing.”
