Senator Dorgan and Representative English Co-author Article on Infrastructure Plan for The Hill

Together, they authored an article for The Hill discussing how to bring life to the new administration’s infrastructure plan. The article first lays out concerns about starting a national infrastructure plan: the potential to increase the deficit, environmental concerns and tax breaks for the wealthy. Addressing each concern in turn, Senator Dorgan and Representative English lay out their idea. The article goes on to propose resizing and updating federal buildings to modern standards, writing that doing so  will reduce the federal footprint, create jobs, and return some un or misused federal land back to the private sector, generate local and state tax revenue.
