Santos Quoted on UFLPA’s Updated Enforcement Strategy

Customs Practice Leader and AFS Forced Labor Task Force Leader Angela M. Santos was quoted regarding the recent US Department of Homeland Security Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Strategy Update.

Angela said that the addition of new enforcement priority sectors: aluminum, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and seafood was not a surprise and had been expected for some time. She added that these additions are likely to impact many companies -aluminum is used in many products and PVC is frequently used in flooring.
