Byron Dorgan Comments on North Korea on CNBC
On July 3, Arent Fox senior policy advisor and former Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND) was a guest on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street. Senator Dorgan was joined by James Glassman, the former Under Secretary of State.
In light of North Korea launching a successful missile, both guests commented on the White House’s foreign policy and seeming lack of a “master plan” on North Korean policy. Senator Dorgan for his part said that the United States’ relationship with China is “complicated,’ and “The expectation that President Xi [of China] will solve the North Korea problem is more wishful thinking.” To watch the interview in full, click here.
