Health Care Practice Leader Douglas Grimm co-led a September 12, 2024, Strafford CLE webinar for health care practitioners on the recent notable US Supreme Court decisions in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Corner Post v. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
Douglas and his co-panelists discussed the significant impacts the Loper Bright and Corner Post decisions may have on the health care industry, where new challenges to longstanding regulations may be brought, including to those that had previously been analyzed under the Chevron doctrine. Topics included how Loper Bright will impact judicial review of health care regulations; the effect of Corner Post on litigation that challenges administrative agency rules; how the decisions may affect health care regulatory rulemaking; and, ultimately, how these decisions may impact clients of the health care bar.
