Untangling the 100% EV Import Tariffs. Supply Risks and Revenue Opportunities

By most accounts, Washington’s bi-partisan support for the Electric Mobility sector continues to spur new technologies and product innovation. Those incentives come with caveats, notably driven by US geopolitical tensions and applied in the form of steep US tariffs on the procurement of foreign inputs, components and assemblies through the global supply chain (e.g., the 100% tariff on electric vehicles (EV) from China).
