Partner Anne Murphy is a featured speaker in an upcoming webinar sponsored by The Governance Institute, about emerging digital health care delivery challenges and opportunities for health care providers. This program will be targeted to hospital and health system governing board members and executives.
The COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating change in health care delivery. Nowhere is this more evident than in the rapid expansion of digital health and telehealth. This has led to an increased need for health care providers to seamlessly integrate digital health with in-person care, which must, in turn, evolve to better meet consumer needs and expectations. This shift has profound implications for business model considerations to support use cases across specialties, as well as changes to workforce composition, compensation, physical assets, payer networks, and IT and cybersecurity infrastructure needs.
Anne will sit on a panel of experts alongside the President and CEO of BlueCross and BlueShield of Minnesota, the Chief Strategy Officer for Keck Medicine of USC, and a Health and Life Sciences consultant from Oliver Wyman. The panel will describe the expansion in virtual health care and the technology, infrastructure considerations, and regulatory changes that are making it possible. They will also identify reasons why continuing a focus on digital health after the pandemic is an essential component for provider longevity, explain business and operating model implications for providers, and list key action items to help organizations take the lead in integrating digital health to serve their patients.
