Kevin Matz, Stephen Liss, and Tracy McLaughlin will speak at the NYSSCPA 2022 Annual Private Wealth Conference on Dec. 7, 2022.
Kevin Matz is the Conference Chair for the NYSSCPA 2022 Private Wealth Conference this year. In addition, he will present “Estate Planning with Grantor Trusts.” This session will focus on what CPAs need to know about grantor trusts including how to spot them, how to report them, and how to plan with them as an integral part of a client’s estate plan.
Stephen Liss and Tracy McLaughlin will co-present “Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax: Key Concepts and Reporting Issues.” They will discuss what CPAs need to know about the generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax including the reporting of allocation of GST exemption both for lifetime transfers on the Form 709 and upon death on Form 706, Schedule R.
