Whether in contentious or non-contentious contexts, his experience centers on helping clients with the adoption, enforcement, and protection of proprietary rights. Drawing from his deep-seated knowledge of emerging technologies, Yusef offers specialized counsel on novel challenges in the AI and Web3 domains, encompassing GenAI and blockchain applications such as smart contracts, cryptocurrency, and NFTs.
Actively involved in the firm’s AI, Metaverse & Blockchain Industry Group, as well as the dedicated AI x Web3 IP Enforcement Task Force, Yusef spearheads efforts to closely monitor litigation, legislation, and other legal developments. At the frontier of AI and Web3, Yusef frequently imparts his insights via written publications, presentations, and strategic consultations, contributing to a broader understanding of these swiftly evolving fields.
Previous Work
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, he worked at a well-known intellectual property boutique, a New York City-based tech startup and other boutique law firms handling securities, privacy, and cryptocurrency/blockchain-related matters.
