As a member of the Complex Litigation Group, Sarah focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and has experience assisting in a variety of industries. Sarah has assisted with the preparation for and attended arbitration hearings. She has experience taking depositions and cross-examining a fact witness during an arbitration hearing. She has also drafted various pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses. Sarah is an observant, meticulous attorney who works toward collaborative solutions to her clients’ issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah was a judicial extern for Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division. As an extern, she attended court calls and trials. She also reviewed briefs for various motions and drafted issued orders.

PRO BONO ACTIVITIES
Sarah currently represents an inmate in a Section 1983 claim for failure to provide adequate medical treatment and unconstitutional confinement conditions. She also currently represents a sex trafficking victim seeking to vacate her criminal charges under the Victims of Sex Crimes Trafficking Act.
