Patrick advises clients on corporate restructuring and insolvency matters. He has represented parties in complex chapter 11 cases, asset sales, contested plans of reorganization, adversary proceedings, mediation and related litigation outside of bankruptcy court. His practice covers the various needs of creditors and other parties in industries including health care and senior living, retail, and cryptocurrency.

Client Work

Patrick has represented a diverse body of clients including debtors, indenture trustees, individual or group landlord and vendor creditors, committees of unsecured creditors and company directors, among others, in domestic and international proceedings. Representations include:

  • The indenture trustee for senior secured notes in the chapter 11 cases of Endo International plc and its affiliates.
  • The indenture trustee for unsecured notes in the chapter 11 cases of WeWork Inc. and its affiliates.
  • The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of PGX Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates.
  • The independent director of Voyager Digital Holdings, Inc. in the Voyager chapter 11 cases.
  • CoverFX, debtors in subchapter V cases, named 2022 Reorganization of the Year ($10mm-100mm) by the M&A Advisor.
  • A creditor real estate investment firm in connection with leases of skilled nursing facilities in the Gulf Coast Health Care, LLC et al. chapter 11 cases.
  • An international provider of remote communications and IT services and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases.
  • A leading fitness club operator with locations across the United States and more than 3 million members, and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases.
  • An oil and gas exploration and production company and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases.
  • One of the nation’s largest mortgage servicers, and certain of its affiliated debtors, in their chapter 11 cases.
  • Second lien lenders in the chapter 11 cases of NorthEast Gas Generation, an owner and operator of electricity generation plants.
  • The prepetition intermediation facility provider to Philadelphia Energy Solutions (PES) Holdings, LLC, in the PES chapter 11 cases.

Previous Work

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Patrick was a bankruptcy associate at two international law firms.

Professional Activities

While in law school, Patrick served as the Executive Production Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and the Arts, and worked as a judicial intern in the chambers of the Honorable Victor Marrero, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Life Beyond the Law

Patrick is a life-long musician and plays several instruments.
