Maria is a passionate advocate who values helping individuals overcome inequalities and difficult circumstances to attain their goals. As a former licensed real estate agent, she understands the importance of putting her clients’ needs first. Her problem-solving perspective is deepened by varied experience which includes commercial litigation and transactional matters, including SEC compliance and corporate governance. Maria also conducts beneficial ownership analyses as part of her work with the Corporate Transparency Act Task Force. In addition to her client work, Maria provides pro bono legal services for community members and community-based organizations.
