Joseph P. Quinn

Joseph is a patent attorney who has counseled clients in intellectual property law for over twenty years. 

Joseph has extensive experience drafting patent applications over a wide range of technologies and prosecuting patent applications in the USPTO and internationally. He also has extensive experience preparing patentability opinions and freedom to operate opinions for his clients and has litigated for both the plaintiff and defendant sides in patent infringement disputes.

Joseph’s practice is informed by his foundational background as test technician and product design engineer in the aerospace, automotive, and appliance industries. He draws on this experience to counsel companies across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, health care, medical devices, semiconductor design and fabrication, telecommunications, transportation and mobile technologies, defense technologies, software, and computer networks.

In addition, Joseph leverages his electrical and mechanical engineering background to help clients identify protectable aspects of their technology and develop adaptive patent portfolios to protect their innovations worldwide.
