Joseph P. DiBella

Joe assists health care clients, including hospitals, physician groups, nursing homes, and individual physicians, on all aspects of corporate and governance matters. He focuses his practice on business formation, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex transactions, including sales of practices. In addition, Joe advises clients on corporate governance issues and regularly drafts formation and governance documents including by-laws, shareholders’ agreements, and operating agreements. He has worked with private equity investors to establish Management Services Organizations (MSOs) and other entities designed to work alongside medical and dental practices.

Joe’s experience also includes representing physician clients in audits by private payors and government entities, as well as through disciplinary matters and board investigations, and counseling clients on regulatory compliance with the False Claims Act, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and other health care laws and regulations.  

Before joining ArentFox Schiff, Joe was a health care and corporate associate at the Long Island office of a regional law firm.
