John focuses his practice on litigation and investigations matters.

John has experience in a range of commercial litigation, investigations, and products liability matters. His investigations work includes matters involving alleged violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute, alleged violations of the False Claims Act, and investigations before the SEC and FINRA. In the commercial litigation space, John has worked on cases involving breaches of contract, malpractice allegations, insurance coverage disputes, and demands for arbitration. John also has experience in appellate courts, including serving as the lead attorney in a criminal appeal before the Appellate Division of the NY Supreme Court, First Judicial Department.

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, John served as a law clerk for the Honorable William E. Smith, US District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Before that, John was an associate in the General Litigation group at a major international law firm.

While in law school, John worked as a student attorney at a nonprofit legal clinic. He also served as a law clerk at the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, as a fall intern for the US Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Fraud Section, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Amy Berman Jackson, US District Court for the District of Columbia.
